The Referee Recognition Awards 2023 at Wembley Stadium is an event that aims to acknowledge the outstanding contribution and dedication of referees across the country. I worked in collaboration with the team at TMG and The FA to develop an identity and campaign that communicated the contribution referees bring to the beautiful game. The aim was to create an identity that was fun and creative yet understated whilst also pushing the boundaries of existing brand guidelines. The core logo design and graphic assets were based on the referee's directional system of control (DSC) and meant to reflect the order of play and movement of the game.
